Sightseeing
Go for the day and enjoy both the palace and parkland. Recommend a guided tour to hear all about the fascinating history of the palace and the Family that still lives there. Visit the Winston Churchill exhibit, walk round the formal gardens, especially the secret garden which is my favourite part! Stop off for an afternoon tea in The Orangery, then leave 1.5 hours to do the circular walk round the parkland to finish off the day. A stunning day out!

A great local town for walking around, with a wonderful farmers market on the 4th Saturday of each month. Perfect for having a coffee in the square and you visit the fabulous Eagles deli for a great selection of items. There is also a castle to walk around, although please note it’s just the land, no building actually remains. A great place to walk a dog though. Just 8 minutes drive from our property.

Neighbourhoods
Just 22 minutes on the train from Kings Sutton to Oxford. The town of Oxford is a unique and stunningly beautiful place to visit. Walk around the city taking in the history, visit the famous College’s throughout the city, go punting on the river, picnic in the park, visit the museums, or even go for cocktails overlooking the city. There is also a great shopping scene, and you can find some great items in the covered market. Always a great day out.
