Closest Supermarket
located at 69 Boulevard Voltaire- this little cafe/bakery is perfect for your morning croissants and fresh bakes baguettes. Quick tip: At any bakery, if you want to pick up some fresh bread, skip the "baguette" and order a "Tradition" instead. You will not be disappointed! (it's a different type of bread, a bit crustier than a baguette and the go-to for most French people).

Consejos para la ciudad

Costumbres y cultura

Always say "Bonjour" before speaking to someone.

The French are very polite people and expect to be greeted before addressed. You'll find your interactions will be much more easy-going if you always say "Bonjour Monsieur or Bonjour Madame" before asking any questions. Don't forget the "Bonne Journée" or "Bonne Soirée" ("Have a nice day" or "have a nice evening") before you leave :).

Take advantage of the Farmers Markets

There are fresh food markets almost every day in Paris. Pick up some local ingredients to prepare at home. You'll save lots by not eating out and still be able to enjoy some great French meals.
Viajar con niños

Check out the classes offered around the city.

Keeping kids happy in Paris can sometimes be a challenge. We recommend checking out some different classes (art, cooking, baking, French language, etc). There are lots on Airbnb and we have some recommendations as well, if you're interested. Classes can be a really fun cultural experience for kids and can be a nice change from the museums and monuments.

Metro St Ambroise (Line 9)

Your closest metro station is St. Ambroise which serves the line 9 metro. This line will take you directly to many places of interest: Trocadero - a must see. Take the line 9 to this station and prepare to be wowed by the best view of the Eiffel Tower in the city. Chausee d'Antin La Fayette - Stop here if you want to do some shopping.
