Speaking of cheese, right down the road from Three Sisters Farm is one of the best local cheesemakers we have come across! Laskin's Gorges Cheese in Waldoboro, Maine is an environmentally focused farm where cows rotationally graze in fields and forests - and you can taste the difference in their cheese. Our favorite is the award-winning Rockweed! You can buy it right at the farm - with an honor cash box if Allison's not home.
East Forty Farm also offers delicious monthly farm suppers through the summer (book early!) and their summerhouse can be booked for fondue parties and cheese tastings.

The Owls Head Transportation Museum houses more than 150 pre-1940 automobiles, planes, motorcycles, bicycles, and engines significant to the evolution of transportation. A true labor of love by its founders, kids of all ages love looking at the fun exhibits. There's also a pretty cool arcade room!
